The Hunger Code Gift with Purchase Campaign

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in The Hunger Code Gift with Purchase campaign (“Promotion”) offered by DoctorJasonFung.com (“Sponsor,” “we,” or “our”). By participating in this Promotion, entrants (“you” or “participant”) agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before entering.

1. Eligibility
This Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, or affiliates of DoctorJasonFung.com, Dr. Jason Fung, or their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

The Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Participate
To qualify for the gift:

  1. Purchase a copy of The Hunger Code by Dr. Jason Fung from any authorized retailer during the Promotion Period.

  2. Visit https://www.doctorjasonfung.com and complete the entry form by providing:

    • Your full name

    • A valid email address

    • The receipt/transaction number to verify proof of purchase

  3. Submit the entry form within the Promotion Period.

Each verified entry entitles the participant to one (1) promotional gift, while supplies last.

3. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins on January 1, 2026 and ends on March 31, 2026 or while supplies last. Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

4. Gifts and Fulfillment
Eligible participants will receive the promotional gift described on the campaign webpage.

  • Gifts are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have a cash value of $499.00 USD.

  • We reserve the right to substitute a gift of equal or greater value if the original gift becomes unavailable for any reason.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information. We are not responsible for lost, misdirected, or undeliverable gifts due to incorrect or incomplete details.

5. Verification and Disqualification
All entries and receipts are subject to verification. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that:

  • Contains incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information;

  • Is submitted through automated means or suspected of tampering; or

  • Fails to meet these Terms or applicable laws.

Our decisions regarding eligibility and fulfillment are final and binding.

6. Limitation of Liability
By participating, you agree that DoctorJasonFung.com, Dr. Jason Fung, Greystone Books, and any affiliated partners are not responsible for:

  • Late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries;

  • Technical or network errors;

  • Any damages, losses, or injuries arising from participation or acceptance/use of a gift.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless DoctorJasonFung.com and its affiliates from any claims related to the Promotion.

7. Privacy
All personal information collected through this Promotion will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Changes or Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Promotion at any time without notice if fraud, technical issues, or other factors compromise its integrity or fairness.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
